Have you ever noticed your cat nibbling on your plants? Did you know that there are certain plants that are poisonous to cats and can cause vomiting, nausea and even death?
In some cases, only parts of a particular plant are poisonous, in other cases, it's the entire plant. For example, every part of the lily plant is extremely poisonous to cats and consuming even a small amount of any part of the lily plant could cause a cat to suffer kidney or liver damage within a few hours.

How to Keep Cats from Nibbling on Plants
Other than ridding your home of poisonous plants, one way to prevent your cat from nibbling on your plants is by making sure that your plants (poisonous or not) are out of reach of your cat.
Another solution is growing cat grass for your cat and training it to nibble on the cat grass rather than your plants. In addition to its health benefits, cat grass (sometimes referred to as catgrass or pet grass), will satisfy your cat's craving for grass. If your cat has taken to nibbling on your plants, it could be a sign that your cat has a craving for vegetation.
